Launching our new Key Stage 3 lesson

Our new Key Stage 3 lesson extends our messaging about relationships and stalking to younger students between 11 to 14 years old

Over the last five years our three Key Stage 4 lessons on stalking and relationship safety have been freely available to schools across the UK.

We know that the resources have been downloaded more than 10,000 times by teachers across the country, as well as being delivered by Police Community Service Officers in County Durham and elsewhere.

Over this time we have repeatedly received feedback suggeating that an age-sensitive introduction to these issues was very much needed among the Key Stage 3 age group, i.e. students between 11 and 14 years old.

In response, we have produced a single PSHE lesson about stalking for Key Stage 3 students which covers similar material presented in a manner suitable for the younger age group. As with our existing resources, they are freely available for schools to download and to use themselves with accompanying teacher notes.

We are delighted to be launching this new resource to mark the first day of National Stalking Awareness Week 2024.
